The first word that Libby McLinn said as a baby was "see!" With that single word, she began her love and obsession with documentary photography.

At the age of six Libby photographed her first project, "My Little Ponies in London." In her senior year of high school, she won a college scholarship from The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her documentary, "Newbury Street."

After receiving a BFA in documentary photography from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley College, Libby began her photography career working for a music magazine. Combining her dedication to photography and her love of music, she spent a number of years working for one of the country’s most in demand rock bands, documenting, not only every night of their national tours, but the everyday life of the band, their crew and fans.

Marrying the love of her life began Libby's passion for wedding photography. She deeply believes that it is a joy and honor to share in people's love during their wedding. Libby becomes so involved with the bride and groom throughout the day that she's been spotted by guests having a tear in her eye during the ceremony.

She is currently studying American Sign Language to better communicate with her deaf and hard of hearing clients.

Libby lives in Brooklyn, NY with her wonderful husband and their 15 year young Siamese cat. She also knits in her free time.
